The 2018 Dacia Duster which is the brand’s iconic SUV has been revealed. More than a million units of the Duster have been sold till date. The latest iteration promises to continue on its successful path. Dacia will officially unveil the new Duster at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The 2018 Dacia Duster retains the original Duster’s DNA but follows a new styling path. The new model is said to be as versatile as ever and now is even more attractive. The new design conveys the Duster’s adventurer pedigree and capability to stray off the beaten. It combines robust, muscular styling with a truly assertive personality which is emphasised by a brand-new body colour, Atacama Orange.
At the front the all-new Dacia Duster sports a wide grille which extends till the headlamps. The new headlights feature LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) that are divided into three sections, giving the SUV a distinctive look. The crease lines on the bonnet give the new Duster a truly athletic appeal. A huge scratch-resistant satin-chrome-finish skid plate adds to the adventurous characteristics of the new Dacia Duster. Fog lamps are enclosed in a matte black finish housing on both the corners.
When seen from the side profile the new Duster gives a sense of strength thanks to the higher belt line. When compared to the current gen Duster, the windscreen on the new one is more forward by around 100 mm which makes the SUV appear a bit more dynamic. The muscular wheel arches are filled up by the sturdy looking 17-inch alloy wheels. The new generation Duster also gets a black wing arch trim that highlights its adventurer credentials. Also seen are the aluminium roof bars with the ‘DUSTER’ branding and the chrome finished outside rear view mirror housing.
Moving towards the rear we observe that the new Duster sports square tail lamps with a very distinctive pattern of four red stacked squares. These are located at the extreme corners to emphasise the width of the SUV. The new 2018 Dacia Duster also sports a wider satin-chrome-finish rear skid plate similar to the front bumper.
The all-new Duster also features upgraded travelling comfort thanks to a totally redesigned, high quality interior with modern equipment.
