Datsun India has launched a more powerful version of the redi-GO. Sakshi Malik, India’s first female wrestler to win an Olympic medal who has been appointed as the brand ambassador was present at the launch of the Datsun redi-GO 1.0L.
Powering the Datsun redi-GO 1.0L is a 999 cc, three-cylinder, Intelligent Spark Automated Technology (iSAT) engine which is mated with a five-speed manual transmission. The motor produces a maximum power of 68 PS and a torque of 91 Nm.

In that spirit, building on the successful launch of redi-GO last year, Datsun now offers a more powerful driving experience with the redi-GO 1.0L. The Datsun redi-GO 1.0L is available in two trims, T(O) and S. In terms of looks the Redi-GO 1.0L is similar to the 0.8L version and the only differentiating factor has to be the 1.0 badge at the rear.
The urban hatchback boasts of a best-in-class ground clearance of 185 mm. Some of the key features of the Datsun Redi-GO include LED daytime-running lights, central locking and remote keyless entry, black interior with silver finish on the AC vents and horn pad and driver side airbag.
