The new 2018 Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series with More Power and More Luxury

Porsche has brought out with an intricately refined 911 Turbo S Coupe which will be limited to only 500 units worldwide. The new 2018 Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series Coupe is also the most powerful 911 Turbo S ever.

The special sports car has been meticulously finished by hand in the new Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur at Porsche AG’s headquarters in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. The in-house workshop which was earlier known as Porsche Exclusive, specialises in customization and is responsible for producing limited-edition vehicles.

Powering the new 2018 Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series is a 3.8-liter, twin turbo flat-six engine with a power kit. This motor makes 607 hp and a maximum torque of 553 lb-ft (750 Nm). between 2,250 and 4,000 rpm. The coupe can reach from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds. It is also 0.3 seconds faster than the standard 911 Turbo S to cross 124 mph.

The Coupe is also equipped with active sports chassis with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and the Sport Chrono. The Rear-axle steering and Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) further enhance handling and stability

The 2018 Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series Coupe gets its distinctive look from the Golden Yellow Metallic paint finish. Porsche will also offer the sports car in other select exterior colours. It also gets various carbon fibre components, including the front trunk lid, roof, and side skirts which accentuate the sporty look of the car.

The limited edition coupe is equipped with Turbo Aerokit rear wing and gets a new rear fascia and the exhaust system with twin tailpipes which are finished in black. The front fenders are adorned with Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur badges.

The special edition Porsche 911 comes standard with 20-inch center-lock wheels which are painted in black. The wheels also get Golden Yellow Metallic highlights which have been achieved using a new laser technology. Also for the first time, the brake callipers for the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) system are available in black with the Porsche logo in Golden Yellow Metallic.

The interior of the new 2018 Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series is both elegant and unique. The 18-way adjustable sports seats are covered in perforated leather with has two stripes in Golden Yellow in the inside layer, creating a unique look. The seams and the Turbo S lettering stitched into the headrests are also finished in Golden Yellow.

The roof lining of the exclusive Porsche 911 Coupe is made of Alcantara with a Golden Yellow double-stripe look. Fine copper thread is integrated into the carbon fibre trims of the interior. The carbon fibre door sill guards get illuminated Exclusive Series lettering. Adding more exclusivity is the plate featuring the limited-edition number which is located on the passenger side.

Porsche Design for the first time has released an exclusive Chronograph for the limited production car customers. It features design elements similar to what has been used in the 2018 Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series Coupe. The watch can be ordered to the customer’s requirements at the same time they order the vehicle.

The housing of the Porsche Design Chronograph 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series is made from lightweight titanium. The carbon dial is created from the carbon weave stripes on the 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series and has been painted in the same colour that is used on the sports car. The design of the rotor is inspired by the rims the 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series and is painted in the same colour. The winding mechanism features a typical Porsche center-lock with the Porsche crest on the movement.

Also for the first time, Porsche customers can have the optional matching chronograph from Porsche Design configured in the same specification as their car. The look of the luggage set matches that of the car. The dimensions of the two weekender bags, the handbag, and the garment carrier are a perfect fit for the luggage space available in the 2018 Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series Coupe.

The luggage set is available for delivery at the factory for customers who select European Delivery, or from the Porsche Tequipment range available for ordering at any Porsche dealership.

2018 Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series Price:

The 2018 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series Coupe is reported to start from $257,500 (approximately INR 1.6 Crore)

The five-piece luggage set costs $6,324 (approximately INR 4 Lakh).

Pricing for the Porsche Design Chronograph 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series has yet to be determined.
