To celebrate its 20th year of participation at the 87th Geneva International Motor Show, Tata Motors has presented a special edition of India’s first ‘Styleback’, the Tata TIGOR. It will be launched on 29 March 2017 in India.
Tata Tigor has a revolutionary design and features a lively and dynamic stance. The Tigor Styleback introduces a complete new silhouette to the segment, which is dominated by boxy cars. Based on Tata Motors’ IMPACT design philosophy, it will surely be a game changer in the compact sedan segment with an unbeatable blend of style and substance.
The Tata Tigor Geneva Edition has been styled to stand out from the crowd. Finished in a red paint with a black roof, it features a chrome humanity line at the front that reaches out into the headlamps. The chrome eyebrows on the projector headlamps adds a premium touch. The strong slingshot line executed around the car highlights the prominent LED Tail Lamps and greatly accentuates the length of the car.
It also features a different bumper from the Tiago hatchback which it is based on. The fog lamp enclosure is bigger and has a DRL strip running across. Both front and rear bumpers also house a faux skid plate in silver finish. A set of tastefully designed diamond cut alloy wheels enhances the look of this styleback.
Inside the Tigor Geneva Edition has a full black interior with the red shade applied on the steering wheel, AC vents and the gear lever. The seats and door pads feature hexagonal pattern and are stitched using a thread. Even the seat belts are finished in a similar red colour
The Tigor comes with smart and exclusive connectivity systems which satisfy the modern requirement of being connected all the time. It features ConnectNext infotainment system by Harman with Juke-Car app and Turn-by-Turn navigation.
The touchscreen infotainment which can be controlled by the steering mounted buttons allows access to various connectivity options and supports the park assist system with a display for the rear camera. The audio system with eight high fidelity speakers has been certified by globally renowned Golden Ears and tuned by seasoned Harman audio experts to deliver true and natural sound.
The Tata Tigor when launched will come with both petrol and diesel powered engines. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual and the Easy-Shift AMT which was recently launched on the Tata Tiago hatchback.
