Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL), a subsidiary of one of the world’s leading two-wheeler manufacturers, Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, celebrated the Gixxer Day at Central Avenue in Mumbai on 19th March 2017.
The Gixxer Day is a gathering of Suzuki Gixxer and Suzuki Gixxer SF owners to celebrate the spirit of the hugely successful Street Sport Bike. The celebration organised by Suzuki India and RedBull was flagged off with a morning ride session for Suzuki riders who got a chance to tour the city with Aras Gibieza, two-time European Freestyle Champion. A Suzuki Gixxer Cup Race Motorcycle was also displayed.

The crowds were kept entertained with musical performances and cool tricks by BMX riders but what kept the them on their toes was the action-packed freestyling bike performance by Aras Gibieza, on his powerful Suzuki GSX-S1000.

The company also displayed the new Suzuki Gixxer series at the event in Mumbai. The street bikes are now Bharat Stage IV (BSIV) compliant and come with Automatic Headlamp On (AHO) feature.

A mega service camp was setup, wherein special offers were provided on the servicing and spares of Suzuki vehicles. A lucky draw was also conducted for the participants and the winners got to take home exciting Suzuki merchandise. Suzuki India plans to have similar celebrations at Kolkata and Delhi too.
