Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched its premium and global sedan – The 2017 Toyota Corolla Altis in India. The new Corolla builds on Toyota’s legendary Quality, Durability and Reliability with significantly enhanced quality in every aspect of its design and engineering. It is undoubtedly one of the most popular sedan which is sold in over 150 countries and has a base of over 44 million happy customers across the world.
The new Toyota Corolla Altis boasts of advanced and dynamic exteriors. The front has been completely restyled to highlight a wider vehicle stance. It incorporates Toyota’s under Priority and Keen Look design language featuring a small upper chrome grille surrounded by the new advanced bi-beam LED headlamps including LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) and a revised front bumper which incorporates a large lower grille.
At the side, the door handles receive a new chrome trim finish, enhancing the character line running from the front to the rear of the vehicle. New 16-inch alloy wheels add to the dynamic look of the vehicle. The new LED tail lamp clusters and a chrome garnish further enhance the look and emphasizes the vehicle width.
The 2017 Toyota Corolla Altis will be available in an all-new dark sparkling Phantom Brown shade, along with its existing colours of White Pearl Crystal Shine, Champagne Mica Metallic, Silver Mica Metallic, Celestial Black, Grey Metallic and Super White.

The Corolla’s high quality interior design offers customers a superior cabin environment which is created by the newly designed Instrument Panel with Soft Touch Dashboard and the refreshed Flaxen interior colour. The new Corolla offers a spacious cabin with rear reclining seats which ensures utmost comfort. It also features a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10-way adjustable power driver seat with lumbar support, Minus ion generator (nanoe), tilt and auto fold ORVM, cruise control, smart entry with push start button, 2 power sockets, rear sunshade, rain sensing wipers and rear camera with parking sensors.
The 2017 Toyota Corolla Altis is available in two engine options – 1.8 L petrol engine with Dual VVT-i and 1.4 L diesel engine with Variable Nozzle Turbo and Intercooler. Both engines come with a 6-speed manual transmission. The automatic version of the Corolla Altis available with only the petrol engine is equipped with a 7 Speed Super CVT-i with Sport Mode and Paddle Shift.
Reaffirming Toyota’s safety leadership positioning, the new 2017 Corolla Altis is equipped with 7 SRS airbags, ABS with EBD and Brrake Assist, Vehicle Stability Control, Hill start Assist control and an impact absorbing Global Outstanding Assessment (GOA) body structure adding to the excellent cabin rigidity and occupant safety.
