Tata Motors is celebrating its 20th year of participation at the 87th Geneva International Motor Show. To mark this occasion the company has presented the Tata Nexon Geneva Edition.
Tata Nexon is a lifestyle, zippy and young interpretation of a compact SUV. It will mark its powerful entry in the rapidly growing SUV segment later this year. Boasting a well-sculpted body that describes a sense of power and agility it reinforces Tata Motors’ IMPACT design language. The car sports a lively silhouette that brings out the compact and sporty design, making it look sleek and proportionate.
The Tata Nexon Geneva Edition flaunts an interesting exterior design with a dual tone exterior colour scheme in red and silver. It also features aerodynamically designed front pillars that provide a large windshield area for all-round visibility, chrome humanity line, projector headlamps with daytime running lights (DRLs), LED tail lamps, a contrast tone on rising belt line finisher and fog lamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, roof rails and a rear spoiler.
Inside the Nexon Geneva edition comes with plush interiors finished in the same colour scheme as the exterior. It consists of a premium openable grand console with armrest, a dynamic and elegant integrated dashboard design with premium materials and surface texture, ergonomically placed bottle and cup holders, multiple utility spaces, handbag hangers, laptop & iPad trays and automatic climate control with rear AC vents.
The Tata Nexon also boasts of a best-in-class acoustic performance package and comes with an advanced infotainment system, featuring a dash-top touchscreen exclusively designed by HarmanTM. Additionally, the Nexon offers next-gen connectivity with a host of smartphone applications to carry your digital world around and rear-view camera interface.
The Tata Nexon complies with all upcoming safety regulations in the Indian market and is supplied with front dual airbags, 9th generation ABS with EBD with Corner Stability Control ISOFIX in rear seats.
The Tata Nexon Geneva Edition on display is equipped with a 1.5L Revotron diesel engine with three drive modes. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox. The upcoming new SUV from Tata also features dual-path suspension, superior NVH characteristics, ergonomically designed control systems and an electric power assisted steering.
