Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) has introduced the fourth generation of its iconic 110 cc automatic scooter with new BSIV and AHO compliance – Honda Activa 4G.
The Honda Activa has grown into a household name in India. It was also the world’s largest selling two-wheeler in 2016. Honda has a staggering 58% market share in the automatic scooter segment and most of the credit goes to the Activa.
Commenting on the new edition, Mr. Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice President – Sales and Marketing, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. The new Honda Activa 4G is now both Automatic Headlamp On (AHO) and Bharat Stage IV (BS-IV) compliant. The scooter is powered by the trusted 109cc Honda Eco Technology (HET) engine which churns out 8 bhp of power and 9Nm of torque.
It also comes equipped with Combi Brake System (CBS) with Equalizer technology which distributes braking force proportionately between the front and rear wheels simultaneously by pressing just the left lever. This results in reduced braking distance & improved balance, leading to more confident riding compared to conventional braking.
Among the other updates, the Activa gets a new dynamic front centre cover design along with a mobile charging socket. The new model also debuts with HET Tyre, specially developed from Honda patented compound.
Other keys features of the Activa include full metal body, tubeless tyres, large under seat storage area of 18 litres, comfortable riding position and CLIC mechanism (Convenient Lift up Independent Cover mechanism).
Along with the Activa 4G, HMSI also retails the Activa i and Activa 125.

The new Activa 4G now comes in 7 stunning colors. Matt Selene Silver Metallic and Matte Axis Grey Metallic are two new additions to the existing Imperial Red Metallic, Trance Blue Metallic, Pearl Amazing White, Majestic Brown Metallic and Black.
