Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited have launched the 2017 Suzuki Gixxer and the 2017 Suzuki Gixxer SF. Both motorcycles now comply with Bharat Stage IV emission norms and get Automatic Headlamp On (AHO) feature.
The 2017 Suzuki Gixxer gets sporty graphics and the “Gixxer” logo across the tank. Models equipped with rear disc brakes will be available in three colours – Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Triton Blue and Pearl Mira Red. The rear drum brake variant will be avaialble in Glass Sparkle Black.
The 2017 Suzuki Gixxer SF variant will be available in new sporty graphics using the Suzuki logo. It will be available in three colours – Glass Sparkle Black with Metallic Mat Black, Metallic Triton Blue and Pearl Mira Red. The Gixxer SF Fi variant will be available only in Metallic Triton Blue and Glass Sparkle Black with Metallic Mat Black colours.
The Gixxer SF features an aerodynamic fairing which has been designed from the same wind tunnel where the Hayabusa and GSX-R superbikes were developed and tested.
Both motorcycles are powered by a 155 cc engine and get rear disc brakes. Suspension duty is carried out by large 41 mm forks at front while a 7 step adjustable mono shock takes care of the rear.
Other key features on both bikes includes stylish LED tail lamps, key mascot and smart digital instrument cluster. Both motorcycles come with dual outlet type exhaust, while the Gixxer gets a chrome cover, the Gixxer SF sports an aluminium muffler cover.
