Audi the German car maker has launched the 2017 Audi A3 Cabriolet at a starting price of INR 47,98,000 ex-showroom Delhi. The new model has a sporty stance on the road and is a head turner with its flowing lines and soft top.
The four seater soft top car is powered by a 1.4 TFSI Cylinder On Demand (COD) engine, that turns off two cylinders when the corresponding output is not required. It produces 150 hp (110 kW) and develops 250 Nm (184.4 lb-ft) of torque. Audi claims an average fuel consumption of 19.2 km/l. The engine is mated to a 7-speed S tronic transmission system
The cabrio measures, 4423 mm in length, 1793 mm in width and 1409 mm in height. It has a long wheelbase of 2595 mm. The soft top car is now even sportier and more expressive than ever with a redesigned front and rear. Its single frame grille features sharper contours and is much broader. An aluminium trim wraps around the windshield frame and the edge of the body.

The LED headlights are flatter and provide a distinct look with their jagged edges and dynamic daytime running light (DRL). The tail light configuration has also been redesigned. In addition to the LED, the rear lights get dynamic turn signals.
Inside, the car features a newly designed three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel and a flat instrument panel. A 7-inch MMI screen which is only 11 mm thick and electrically retractable is part of the standard package. The jet design inspired air vents have been revised as well. Seats are wrapped in superior Milano leather upholstery.
Other features include, Audi phone box, Dual Zone Air conditioning with sun light dependent control, Audi Parking Plus with front and rear sensors, rear camera, five airbags and ABS with EBD. Bang and Olufsen sound system and smartphone interface are provided as optional.
