Tata Tiago, since its launch, has been a great success for Tata Motors. Established on the IMPACT design philosophy, the small city car brought in a much-needed refreshment in Tata’s product line-up. In order to provide its future customers with an enjoyable driving experience, the company has launched the Tata Tiago AMT model.

Powering the Tata Tiago AMT will be the 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder Revotron petrol engine. This motor develops 85 PS of power and 114 Nm of torque. The Easy-Shift AMT will be available in the XZA variant and comes equipped with four gear positions – Automatic, Neutral, Reverse and Manual. In addition, the Tata Tiago AMT boasts of 2 drive modes – Sports & City.
The Sports mode enables enhanced acceleration while the City mode helps negotiate through traffic with complete ease. The Manual mode allows shifting the gears at a flick of the gear stick for a more engaging experience.
The Tata Tiago AMT also comes with an inbuilt ‘creep’ feature. It enables the car to crawl as soon as the pressure is released off the brake pedal, without touching the accelerator. This function also prevents the car from rolling back when it starts off from an inclined position.
Some of the key features of the Tata Tiago are 3D headlamps with smoked lens, sharp tail lamps, dual-tone interiors, customizable air vents, height adjustable driver seat, knitted fabric on the roof, ConnectNext Infotainment system by Harman with 8 speakers, Turn-by-turn navigation app and Juke-Car app. It also gets ABS with EBD and Corner Stability Control, rear parking sensors with display on infotainment system and dual front airbags
The Tata Tiago is available in 6 exciting colours – Berry Red, Platinum Silver, Striker Blue, Espresso Brown, Pearlescent White and Sunburst Orange.
The Tata Tigor will also be launched soon. It a compact sedan or as Tata Motors likes to call it, a StyleBack version of the Tata Tiago.
